About Cherry Grove Weekend of Women (CG WoW)

Cherry Grove Weekend of Women is a three-day Sapphic arts and music festival held each October in Cherry Grove, Fire Island — one of the oldest queer sanctuaries in the world. CG WoW gathers lesbian, queer, trans, and non-binary women and our loving allies for a weekend of live music, performance, and community on a barrier island between the Great South Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

At its core, CG WoW exists to elevate the profile of women artists — giving Sapphic musicians, DJs, and performers a stage, an audience, and real, paid opportunities. Now in its third year, the festival has grown from a grassroots gathering into a beloved community fixture.
