Submit to the ART Insights Blog – Submission Guidelines

We are looking for art writers, historians, artists, visual culture enthusiasts, curators, art educators, journalists, and art professionals to contribute to our national blog. We welcome reviews, first-person narratives, journalism, think pieces, and videos that explore art criticism, theory, education, and themes centering on women-identifying culture and current events affecting women artists.

We are always looking for reporting on: National or Global Art Events, Relevant Women’s History and Art History, Climate Change, Art and Technology, Art Criticism and Reviews, the Business of Art, Avant Garde or Visionary feminist criticism, Studio visit footage and 10 min and under Artist Interviews.

Contribute to ARTLINES – Submission Guidelines

Women’s Caucus for Art is seeking submissions to our September 2022 online publication, ARTLINES for a featured essay or article on the effects of the overturning of Roe v. Wade on the lives of women, persons who identify as women and non-binary person and our careers, practices, and narratives in the arts. Potential contributors must submit a 250-word abstract. All submissions must be formatted in .doc or .docx documents and should be double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font. Submit a CV and 100- word bio with self-identification. Please email these materials to admin@nationalwca.org with a subject line that reads as follows, “last name_submission”. ARTLINES will prioritize BIPOC, LBGTQIA, people with disabilities, and historically underrepresented populations. Contributors will be notified by mid-August.
