Ecotones: Water & Thresholds of Change
We invite women artists, from across the nation, working in all media to explore water in its full breadth and ecotones – the thresholds where transformation occurs. These are spaces where boundaries dissolve, the visible and imagined intertwine, and the familiar gives way to the unknown. Water moves as both force and symbol, shaping landscapes, carrying memory, reflecting emotion, and tracing the fluid paths of ideas, culture, and collective experience.
Whether approached through its tangible presence in the natural world or its symbolic roles in our inner and collective lives, water offers fertile ground for reflection, tension, and interconnectedness. We welcome work that explores water both as a physical presence and as a symbolic or metaphorical force.
The exhibition is hosted by the Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE) dedicated to nurturing creativity and community in Colorado’s mountain region. Center for the Arts Evergreen is located at 3188o Rocky Village Dr., Evergreen, CO 80439
